WHAT WE’LL DO

Transform a digital video into a printed animation using the risograph printer. Students bring a short, 5-second video to class and learn how to prepare the file for 2-color risograph printing. Print, scan, and then recompile the printed frames back into a video. We will use Spectrolite and Adobe After Effects in this workshop, but many editing programs work for this process. Students will print 1 contact sheet and receive 10 copies of it, as well as the scanned file.
