Friday, October 16th
6:30pm - 9:30pm
Your kid made the art. You get to make something awesome with it.
Got a growing pile of kid artwork that’s too good to toss but too plentiful to display? Bring it to Paper Press Punch and turn those masterpieces into fancy stationery for grown-ups!
We’ll spend the evening cutting, collaging, and reimagining your kid’s artwork, with plenty of hot tea and guidance along the way. You’ll learn simple collage techniques for designing with the risograph, then print your creations using our vibrant 2-color Riso process.
You’ll leave with a stack of your very own postcards, greeting cards, stationery, or whatever wonderful printed things we dream up together.
No drawing or print experience is needed, just a sense of adventure and a willingness to have fun.
This hands-on workshop is designed for those who are curious about riso printing and to just want to have fun making riso prints with fellow creators. No experience necessary!
*Please note: if you want to participate in open studio printing, you will need to take the Introduction to Risograph Printing Workshop instead.
This workshop is taught in partnership with artist Kelly Hartnett.
A selection of kid artwork you’re ready to cut up and transform.
All materials, including scissors, glue, drawing materials, paper, will be provided for you to use. Including the use of our photocopier!
We have a sliding scale structure ($60-90) and encourage you to pay what you can. To use our sliding scale fee, enter one of the following codes at check out:
