Tuesday evenings, 6:30pm - 9:30pm
This 5-week course introduces participants to Risograph printing books and zines through hands-on exercises and the creation of both a collaborative zine and individual book project. Participants will learn layering, color separation, pagination, and imposition with the use of Adobe InDesign and Spectrolite/Layout Department apps. We will go over registration, trapping, and bookbinding techniques, culminating in a final printed edition.
No experience necessary!
Some of the work for these projects may need to be completed outside of class time. It is recommended that you have a laptop or tablet. We have extra laptops that can be used during class hours.
We have a sliding scale structure ($250 - $500) and encourage you to pay what you can. To use our sliding scale fee, enter one of the following codes at check out:
